Events are getting more accessible on Google! Earlier this month, Google rolled out their latest feature, event search, which makes it easier to find events around you. In the Google search app, event search takes over when Google detects that you are looking for an event.
Google’s event search works by searching “events near me” or “upcoming events in my area,” you then have the option to sort results based on date, or day. Results also include more detailed information such as links to ticket purchase, how to attend or supporting links.

WHERE GOOGLE EVENT SEARCH IS CURRENTLY WORKING
Currently, the Google tool displays results from: Meetup, Yext, Vividseats, Eventbrite, Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, Jambase, LiveNation, Bookmyshow.com, StubHub, Bandsintown, Eventful, along with a few others.
