We take extra precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, email, phone, or through written documents, your information is protected both online and offline.

Any questions that gather “sensitive data,” will only be requested if the client or company, Paragon Events Inc. is working specifically with requests of said question(s) to be asked.

At Paragon Events Inc., we are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and use is appropriate for the purpose, and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy. Under our obligations to protect your right to privacy, we are required to comply with certain privacy and electronic communications laws and regulations and therefore we process your data in accordance with them.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or customer service) are granted access to Personally-Identifiable Information. The computers and servers in which we store Personally-Identifiable Information are kept in a secure environment.

While we will take all necessary and reasonable steps to protect your personal data, the nature of information transmission on the internet is such that we cannot fully guaranteed or warrant the security of any information transmitted.

Method of communication

We may contact and notify you regarding contracted services, to troubleshoot problems with contracted services, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes, we may contact you via email, telephone, text messages, instant message, and postal mail.

Data sharing

We may share your information with third party suppliers when required to fulfil a contract with you; for example, supplying passport details to an airline for your guests if they are travelling internationally.

We will not disclose your Personal Data to third parties unless you have consented to this disclosure or disclosure is required by the third party to fulfill your request (in such circumstances, the third party is bound by similar data protection requirements.) Or when required in order to comply with any applicable law, a summons, a search warrant, a court or regulatory order, or other statutory requirement.

  • Hoteliers, travel agencies, other related providers used to enable our services to you;

Data retention

The duration that your personal data is kept varies based on the use of the data and the services for which we are engaged.

In order to correctly process and ensure you are the data subject, we will need to verify your identity, which may include a request for photographic identity and a proof of address. Some examples are passport or driving license and a recent utility bill.

Email marketing messages & subscription

Under GDPR, we use the consent lawful basis for anyone subscribing to our newsletter or marketing mailing list. We only collect certain data about you, as detailed in the “Processing of your personal data” above. Any email marketing messages we send are done so through an EMS, email marketing service provider. An EMS is a third party service provider of software or applications that allows marketers to send out email marketing campaigns to a list of users.

Email marketing messages that we send may contain tracking beacons, tracked clickable links or similar server technologies in order to track subscriber activity within email marketing messages. When used, such marketing messages may record a range of data such as; times, dates, IP addresses, opens, clicks, forwards, geographic and demographic data. Such data, within its limitations, will show the activity each subscriber made for that email campaign.

Any email marketing messages we send are in accordance with the GDPR and the PECR. We provide you with an easy method to withdraw your consent (unsubscribe) or manage your preferences and the information we hold about you at any time. Our EMS providers include Hubspot and Constant Contact. We hold the following information about you within our EMS system;

Paragon Events Inc. will not sell personal data in any form, including mailing lists. All of its data are for internal use only.

Updates

Paragon Events Inc. will continue to oversee implementation of and compliance with our Policy and will adapt the Policy to reflect changes in technology and the expectations of everyone we collaborate with.
